Former MLS All-Star goalkeeper Mark Dougherty recently returned to the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) to conduct an inspiring goalkeeper clinic that left a lasting impression on aspiring players across the islands.

Mark Dougherty's journey in soccer spans decades of achievement. As a player, he earned All-Star honors twice during his illustrious career in the Western Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League, USISL, and Major League Soccer, collecting multiple Most Valuable Player awards along the way.

Since hanging up his gloves, Mark has channeled his expertise into coaching at every level of the sport—from youth development to collegiate and professional teams. His impressive resume includes coaching positions with both the men's and women's U.S. National Teams, including work with the Men's Olympic Team. As an active member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, Mark continues to contribute to the advancement of goalkeeper training nationwide.

Today, Mark leads ProActive Goalkeeping, where he works with competitive goalkeepers seeking to elevate their techniques, skills, and mental and physical fitness to reach their highest potential.
