On May 10, 2025, Mark Dougherty, founder of Proactive Goalkeeping, brought his world-class goalkeeper training to the U.S. Virgin Islands, leading a specialized clinic for the Lady Eagles, the USVI women’s national soccer team.

Mark, a former professional goalkeeper in Major League Soccer and longtime goalkeeper coach, is known for his innovative, proactive approach to the position. His philosophy emphasizes anticipation, reading the game, and mastering technical details to help goalkeepers become confident decision-makers under pressure.
